> Furthermore, the \*Treatise on the Awakening of Faith\* says: "What is called 'Dharma' refers to the mind of sentient beings (directly pointing to the ordinary mind); this mind encompasses all worldly (the six ordinary realms of the dharmadhātu) and transworldly dharmas (the four sage realms of the dharmadhātu. 'Encompassing' also has two meanings: first, inherently possessed in principle; second, created in practice; both encompass the ten realms. Within the ten realms, what dharma of body, land, purity, or defilement is not present?)." Based upon this mind, the meaning of Mahāyāna is revealed (Mahāyāna means the Great Vehicle. If not for this mind, how could it carry and transport beings?).
