> The commentary on Chan Master Shou's Rhapsody on Peaceful Nourishment says: "The jewel kings of the ten lands of the Western Buddha-field are praised with the broad and long tongue. This is unlike the books of the Daoist school, which all claim to have been brought by blue crows or found when rock cliffs collapsed. With neither a person who could have spoken them nor a place where they were spoken, one can well know that they are falsehoods and absurdities upon which one cannot rely. Even if one were to ascend \[to their heavens\], one would not transcend saṃsāra in the three realms."
