It is only because the actions and karmas of sentient beings differ that the transformation manifestations of the Buddhas are also distinct: either provisional or real, either partial or perfect, either temporary or eternal, either gradual or sudden. Like the one moon in a thousand rivers, each and every wave contains the pure moon; like ten thousand lamps in a single room, each and every light displays the complete lamp.
