> Tenth, the inconceivable Pure Land that embraces all sentient beings of the ten directions is the Western Pure Land of Amitābha Buddha. As for the oceans of great merit, oceans of great compassion and wisdom, and oceans of great vow-power within it, if one were to explain them fully: even if all the buddhas and bodhisattvas, śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas, gods, humans, ghosts, and beasts throughout the worlds of the ten directions—down to the flying and wriggling insects, as well as all insentient things such as grasses, trees, tiles, gravel, and atomic particles—each possessed immeasurable mouths, and in each mouth there were immeasurable tongues, and from each tongue there issued immeasurable sounds, constantly speaking, doubly speaking, blaze-like speaking, and ceaselessly speaking, passing through hundreds of billions of sands-of-the-Ganges asaṃkhyeya kalpas, they still could not exhaust them. Now I shall briefly explain: first, the inconceivable meaning of body and land; second, the inconceivable meaning of nature and characteristics; third, the inconceivable meaning of cause and effect; fourth, the inconceivable meaning of going and coming; fifth, the inconceivable meaning of the ultimately inconceivable.
