> Furthermore, a Bodhisattva has already escaped birth-and-death; the good qualities they cultivate are dedicated to seeking the fruit of buddhahood, which is benefiting oneself; teaching and transforming sentient beings to the end of the future limit is benefiting others. Yet the sentient beings of the present time are all bound by afflictions and have not escaped the suffering of the evil destinies and birth-and-death. Following conditions, they initiate practice in all roots of goodness; let them quickly dedicate their vows toward rebirth in Amitābha Buddha's land. Having arrived in that land, they will have nothing further to fear, the four cultivations above will function naturally and spontaneously, and benefiting oneself and benefiting others will be completely fulfilled. One should know this.
