When the Three Jewels receive the offerings, they will surely be mindful of me, fulfill my requests, and bear witness to my vows.' This burning of incense and scattering of flowers is also called the offering of the three karmas. When first prostrating collectively to the Three Jewels, it is not yet necessary to visualize each direction one by one; merely visualize that one's own body and the Buddhas of the ten directions, in their fundamental principle and essence of the true mark, are originally devoid of subject and object, and therefore there is neither one who prostrates nor one who is prostrated to. Visualizing the absence of subject and object is called the ocean of the dharmadhātu. Vowing that all living beings will together perceive this principle is called entering together.
