> Coming from within the correct: this is an excess, the whole body standing alone and exposed, the root source of the ten thousand dharmas, without blame and without praise. Arriving within the biased: this is Zhongfu, following things without obstruction, a wooden boat hollow inside, empty, penetrating, and free. Bias within the correct: this is Xun, fragments of empty space, everywhere unobstructed, faculties and dust quiescent. Correctness within the bias: this is Dui, the moon in water and images in a mirror, originally without birth or extinction—how could there be any traces? Attainment within both integrated: this is double Li, the correct need not be empty, the biased need not be solid, without turning the back or facing toward.
> He also said: "The workings of the mind wiped out, form and emptiness both forgotten (this is called 'correct'); to the end without taboo, never having altered or moved (this is called 'within'); without any concealment, the whole body openly revealed (this is called 'bias')—this is called bias within the correct. Mountains are mountains, waters are waters, with no one affixing names and no thing capable of comparison—this is called correctness within the bias. Bare and naked, stark and exposed, dignified in features, filling heaven and filling earth, solitary and supreme without a second—this is called coming from within the correct. Just like the Son of Heaven within the realm, not borrowing the decrees of Yu, Tang, Yao, or Shun; eyes seeing and ears hearing, never borrowing another's strength; ears not entering into sounds, sounds not obstructing the ear faculty; inside just turning the body around, while amidst dust not yet bearing a name—this is called arriving within the biased. Not mind, not realm, not phenomenon, not principle; always free of names and descriptions, natural reality forgetting nature and characteristic—this is called attainment within both integrated."
