### [2.155](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1988.2.155)

> The Master at times said, "A single orb of perfect light has long been bright; is there still anyone who asks?" A monk then asked, "What is 'a single orb of perfect light has long been bright'?" The Master said, "In India, chopping off the head and severing the arms." He also said, "Remove Mount Sumeru, take away the ridgepole of the Buddha hall."
