- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.94](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1995.1.94)

> Ascending the hall, he said: "I have a broom / That sweeps away all the snow of the Snow Mountains; / I have a mouth / That has nothing to say when facing affairs; / I have a pair of eyes / That together with the blind are obstinately unseeing. / Passing my life as I please, / I call a tortoise a terrapin. / Living in the world and learning to deal with people, / When drinking water, one must guard against choking. / That which Yangshan once said: / 'Two mouths, yet not a single tongue.' / People of the four seas and five lakes, / Right out in the open, do you catch a glimpse or not?"
