- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.119](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1996.4.119)

僧問法燈：「百骸俱潰散，一物鎮長靈。未審百骸一物相去多少？」燈云：「百骸一物，一物五骸。」別云：「吾不如汝。」

> A monk asked Fadeng, "'The hundred bones all crumble and scatter; the one thing is forever spiritually alive.' I wonder, how far apart are the hundred bones and the one thing?" Fadeng said, "The hundred bones are the one thing; the one thing is the five bones." In an alternative \[the Master\] said, "I am not as good as you."
