- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [5.28](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1996.5.28)

> Clouds and vines are deep and distant, hiding the crag's recess; / Layered turquoises and pure vapors cold, pressing against one another. / Slender rattan staff and light patch-robe: when resting, just rest; / Short flame and fading fragrance: continuing what to continue? / The Chan school is originally oblivious to fetters; / Sandbars and groves it has never feared. / The divine steed of ten shadows stands at the ocean's edge; / The five-colored auspicious qilin walks upon the shores of heaven. / Look and see! Look and see! / Covering the earth, vast and boundless—who brings it up? / If grinding bricks repeatedly brings no turning back, / Remember deeply for me the words of Master Lu.
