- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [5.58](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1996.5.58)

> Spring rain drizzles, spring wind howls;
> Moving or still, it does not wait for time to come forth.
> Clouds and rosy mists at ease and tranquil form its nature;
> Cold and bleak gold and iron serve as its bones.
> Those who know me say I walk high beyond the world;
> Those who do not know me say I look down upon this one cavern.
> The Way roams freely following each quarter, passions melt the fetters and shackles;
> A staff of purple chestnut eight feet long, ten thousand peaks of green mountains.
> Walking, walking, ponder the ancient saying that nothing is permissible and nothing is impermissible:
> South, north, east, west—only I alone.
