- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [6.129](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1996.6.129)

> Transmitted from Shaoshi, this staff of hare's horns / Has been safeguarded by a thousand sages as the crown mark. / Its posture like a crouching tiger or coiling dragon does not rest; / Mountain forms and cloud shadows face it coldly. / At times leaning idly, wherever it rests is emptiness; / Solitary, covering the earth, it congeals autumn frost. / At times it roars the great lion's roar— / How boundless are Dejiao and Linji! / Today it is brought forth without any stinginess, / Distinctly displayed to all spiritual friends. / If you know how to wield it, you may stride freely throughout the world; / Highly rousing the ancestral standard, what limit could there be?
