> Ascending the hall, the Master said: "The realm of phenomena cannot contain its body; the Buddha-eye cannot catch sight of it. Sagely wisdom is free from words; the vast mouth cannot proclaim it. Directly cutting through in broad daylight has already formed steps and gradations; turning the body and exhaling breath appears even more convoluted. Clearly there is nothing hidden; clearly it is devoid of speck or blemish. As vast as the great void, as pure as an ancient mirror—if you see with the eye, Mañjuśrī's body lies across; if you hear with the ear, Avalokiteśvara displays function; if you know with the mind, Samantabhadra is right in the hall. Tell me: where is Vairocana? Blink your eyebrows." He stepped down from the seat.
