- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.46](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1997.1.46)

> Ascending the hall, the Master said: "The one is all: the ground of ultimate reality; all is the one: fundamentally not a single thing. Pick it up and it is clattering and rustling; put it down and it is continuous and fine. The three realms are perpetually and uniquely exposed; in the ten directions there is no place to contain the body. Walking backwards atop the solitary peak, lying crosswise at the crossroads. Looking up into the clouds may be set aside for now—how do you utter a phrase on fish swimming in the wine shop? Why play the fool?" He stepped down from the seat.
