- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.25](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1997.2.25)

> Ascending the hall, \[the master\] said, "The breeze is fresh at the doors and windows; brightly, the ancient mirror hangs high. Light shoots toward the Dipper and Ox constellations; imposing, the Tai'e sword is held across. Outer demons encountering it tremble with fear; malicious spirits conceiving of it lose their souls. The thousand sages fold their hands and submit; the ten directions are squarely cut off. Outwardly severed from the four cardinal directions, inwardly severed from principle and phenomena, right here it is. Do you all see it? / Not departing from this very place, it is always serene; / If you seek it, know that you cannot see it." He stepped down from the seat.
