- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.11](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1997.4.11)

> Ascending the hall, he said: “Everything is without containment, yet in every touch completely realized; its application leaves no disparity, its forms impossible to fathom. Above the crowns of the thousand sages, sometimes the mechanism unfathomable to patriarchs and buddhas is revealed; within the tip of a single hair, sometimes the brilliant pattern of host and guest exchanging places is enacted. Traversing heaven and weaving earth, like jade turning and pearls rolling—let that be set aside for now.” / Holding up his fly whisk, he made a dotting gesture and said: “Where does this single dot fall? / If the sea god treasures it, not knowing its price, / Leave it for the human world to shine throughout the night.”
