### [6.24](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1997.6.24)

> At the invitation of Left Vice Grand Councilor Geng, \[the Master\] ascended the hall and said: "The world without Buddhas is the light of prajñā; the hundreds of thousands of sages are the function of prajñā; the authentic adamantine substance is the root of prajñā; destroying the ramparts of Māra is the power of prajñā. Possessing such unimpeded majestic spiritual authority, attaining such knowledge and vision of liberation, if you use a single hair, thousands and ten thousands of miles are completely radiant; if you pick up a single hair, boundless worlds undergo no change. Taking charge of it in its entirety, it is such-like and immovable. Therefore, Buddhas and ancestral masters uphold this matter to enable all people, each under their own heels, to clearly understand right view, attain its light and reveal its function, realize its root and obtain its power. Right at just such a time, how is it? In heaven, all stars revere the North Star; among humans, no water fails to flow toward the east."
