> In the past, the Tathāgata of Right Dharma Brightness;
> in the present, Avalokiteśvara.
> Eyes view all sounds;
> ears listen to all wondrous forms.
> Both aspects are utterly extinct;
> who receives this teaching?
> This teaching is also extinct;
> who delivers this teaching?
> The one who can see and what is seen,
> the one who can hear and what is heard—
> turning back to contemplate the observer and listener,
> these also do not exist at all.
> Great is Guanshiyin,
> who swiftly expounds such a Dharma!
> This Dharma is inconceivable,
> and those who hear it are exceedingly rare.
> I now use a single hair
> to measure the emptiness of the dharmadhātu everywhere;
> making these illusion-like words,
> I praise this true and real form.
