Guang also took these words to ask Venerable Shishuang Lin. Lin said, "What is your view?" Guang struck him once with his niṣīdana as well. Lin said, "A good strike with the niṣīdana, only you do not know where it lands." He asked Zhenjing again, and Jing said, "What is your view?" Guang struck him once with his niṣīdana as well. Jing said, "He struck, and you strike too." Guang experienced great awakening at this.
