- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.135](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1999.1.135)

> Thanking the administrators and heads of departments, he ascended the hall and said: "Beyond expressing thanks, what else is there? Their advancement: when the wind moves, the grass bends; when water arrives, the channel forms. Their retirement: like jade concealed in the Jing Mountains, its value becomes all the heavier. Tell me, how do you say a phrase that does not fall into advancing or retiring? Stone plinth plates fried in oil, hair-balls driven by the wind, white hairs growing on the back of empty space—picking up the nostrils, one loses the mouth." Giving a shout, he descended from the seat.
