- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.66](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1999.1.66)

> Ascending the hall: "The moon waxes and the moon wanes; follow the path and keep to the penetration. Shatter the iron barrier, and heaven is broad, earth is broad. When the sage takes the heart of the common people as his own heart, naturally the seas are serene, the rivers clear, and all the people rejoice in their vocations. Plowing to eat, digging wells to drink, all day long merry and joyful as if enjoying the great sacrificial feast, what does the emperor's power matter to me? Just at such a time, tell me: is there any principle of Buddha-dharma or not?" Giving a shout, he said: "Three points before, three points after."
