- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.93](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1999.1.93)

> Ascending the hall: “Reversing the celestial pivot, overturning the earthly axis, riding a horse over ice, flipping one's body on a sword blade—this is not yet the patchrobed monk's walk of life. Ten thousand years in one thought, one thought for ten thousand years; refusing to stay in the cage, not turning the head when called—neither is this the patchrobed monk's walk of life. Having broken through the two layers of ruts, there is a separate single road of vitality. Laying down weapons atop the hundred grasses, the mountain monk willingly falls alive into Avīci Hell. Do all of you still examine yourselves?” He gave a shout and said, “Lacquer buckets, go to the hall for practice!”
