> Instructing the assembly, he brought up: A monk asked Fengxue: "All the Buddhas and the Dharma of anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi come forth from this sūtra. What is this sūtra?"
> Fengxue said: "Lower your voice."
> The monk said: "How to uphold it?"
> Fengxue said: "Do not defile it."
> The Master said: "Coming to ask about this sūtra: 'Lower your voice'—scrolls of the great chiliocosm emerge by themselves from within a dust mote, and the Buddhas of the three periods are born from the mouth. Heaven, by attaining the One, becomes clear; Earth, by attaining the One, becomes tranquil. Space has nothing to rely on, and the valleys do not overflow. Mahāprajñāpāramitā—the setting sun, fishermen and woodcutters singing of the peaceful reign."
