> Ascending the hall: "The Buddhas of the three periods do not know it exists; babbling and whining, they air the family's ugliness. Wild cats and white bullocks do know it exists; limping and hobbling along, they can guard themselves. Playing with the turtle-nosed snake, one recalls Nanshan; penetrating the Dharmakāya, one hides in the Northern Dipper. The wind flutters white snow—plum blossoms on the peak; spring twists golden threads—willows on the embankment. Tiantong also does not want to wet his lips: three cups of the Bai family's wine from Qingyuan. If you people can examine and pick it out: 'Had I known of today's affair beforehand, I would regret not having been cautious at first.' If a single path is opened: blowing on the fire by means of the wind does not take much effort."
