- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.91](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2002a.1.91)

> On the Double Fifth, ascending the hall, \[the Master said\]: "Heaven is vast and blue, earth is yellow and wide. Do you still understand? Zhong Kui was originally a ghost! Bah! May red-tongued calumny all perish! But tell me, how is it that for a patch-robed monk, the eight directions have no doors or gateways? Vast and desolate through past and present, the broad daylight is long."
