> \[Case 16\] A monk asked Jingqing, "The student pecks from within; I ask the Master to peck from without." (Raising waves where there is no wind. What are you doing? What are you using so many views and understandings for?)
> Qing said, "Can you still get life or not?" (Piercing. Buying a hat according to the head. Making the best of a mistake. One must not always be like this.)
> The monk said, "If I do not get life, I will be blamed and laughed at by people." (Implicating each other. Propping up heaven and supporting earth. A board-carrying fellow.)
> Qing said, "Also a fellow in the grass." (Indeed. Take yourself away. It is impermissible to let him go.)
