- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.19](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2003.3.19)

> Once riding an iron horse, she entered the layered cities; (A veteran adept in battle; a general beyond the border; with the seven things kept close.) / When the edict came down, it was reported that the six states were cleared. (A dog carrying an amnesty in its mouth; the Son of Heaven within the realm; how can it not be that the seas are calm and the rivers clear?) / Still grasping the golden whip, he asks the returning guest: (What news is this? One staff supported by two people; inviting each other to go together and return together.) / “In the deep of night, who walks along the imperial street together?” (You head to the Xiao and Xiang; I head to Qin. And tell me, what are they walking for?)
