- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.14](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2003.4.14)

> Round and round, pearls encircle and jades tinkle, (A three-foot staff stirs the Yellow River. It takes a blue-eyed barbarian monk to accomplish it. Cast of raw iron.) / Loaded onto horses and carried by donkeys onto an iron boat. (What use is so much? Is there any limit? Let the Venerable examine it.) / Entrusted to the idle guest of the ocean mountain, (There are those who do not want it. If one is an idle guest, one also has no need of it. One must be idle to begin with.) / When angling for the giant turtle, down goes a hoop. (Coming thus, going thus. All at once unable to get out. If it were a toad, what would it be good for? What can be done with shrimp, clams, snails, and mussels? One must angle for the giant turtle to begin with.)
