> Case: A monk asked Yunmen, “What is the pure Dharmakāya?” (Atop the garbage heap he sees the sixteen-foot golden body. Dappled and mottled, what is it?)
> Yunmen said, “A flower-medicinal hedge.” (Where he asks is not genuine; the answer given is reckless. Bumping and knocking against it; the crooked does not conceal the straight.)
> The monk said, “What about when going along just like this?” (He swallows a jujube whole. Why act foolish?)
> Yunmen said, “A golden-haired lion.” (Both praising and disparaging; two casts in one contest. Taking the error and going with the error. What kind of mind-action is this?)
