- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.48](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2003.7.48)

> \[Xuedou's verse eulogy says:\]
> "I invite the venerable monk to speak instead"— (Covering heaven and earth. It has already dulled the point and wounded his hands.) / Horns grow on the tiger's head as it emerges from the wild grass. (It is utterly terrifying to the herd. It is remarkably exceptional.) / Spring has ended across the ten continents, and the flowers have withered; (Everywhere is cool and refreshing; praise cannot even reach it.) / In the forest of coral trees, the sun shines brightly. (A thousand layers, a hundred coils. What can be done about not finding him on the tips of the hundred grasses? The place of his answer covers heaven and blankets earth.)
