> \[Case 62\] Citing: Yunmen instructed the assembly, saying: "Within heaven and earth, (The land is wide, people are few. The six directions cannot contain it.) / in the midst of the universe, (Stop making a living in a ghost cave! You have missed it.) / there is a jewel inside, (Where is it? Radiance is born! Strictly avoid seeking it in a ghost cave.) / hidden in the mountain of form. (Pressing and checking.) / Pick up the lantern and bring it into the Buddha shrine; (Still open to discussion.) / take the triple gate and put it onto the lantern." (Though Great Master Yunmen is right, it inevitably creates confusion. It is still somewhat close; yet if inspected closely, it cannot avoid the stench of excrement.)
