- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.9](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2003.7.9)

> "Look, look! (Set your eyes high. What is the use of looking? The black dragon sports with the jewel.) / On the ancient bank, who holds the fishing pole? (Extremely solitary and precipitous; extremely sheer like a cliff. Drawing the bow after the thief has passed. Cheeks visible from behind the head. Do not associate with him.) / Clouds drift gently, (Only when cut off will it do. Bound a hundredfold and a thousandfold. A hat smeared with grease, a smelly felt shirt.) / Waters stretch boundlessly— (To the left, to the right; blocking in front, crowding behind.) / The bright moon and the reed flowers: look for yourself!" (Look at them and you go blind. If you recognize Yunmen's words, you will see Xuedou's final line.)
