- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [8.3](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2003.8.3)

> \[Xuedou's verse eulogy says:\]
> "The venerable monk also must shut them tight"— (Already prior to words. Cutting off the myriad streams.) / Look upon the strategy on the dragon-snake battle line. (One must be a Golden-Tooth before understanding how to keep the seven implements on one's person. An expert seasoned in battle.) / It makes one long remember General Li: (There are not many hands of wondrous skill. A single horse and a single spear, across a thousand li, ten thousand li, facing a thousand men, ten thousand men.) / Ten thousand li at the edge of the sky, a single osprey flies. (Does the great assembly see? Tell me, where does it fall? Hit! Striking, he said: It has flown past.)
