Luopu once instructed the assembly, saying, "You must understand the principle beyond the words; do not take rules from within speech." A monk asked, "What is it like when walking in the inconceivable?" Luopu said, "The green mountains are constantly lifting their feet; the bright sun does not shift its wheel."
