> "The Five Houses change their tones and switch their tunes, deploying the wondrous gate, shifting customs and altering ways, in a thousand manners and a hundred facets—all sung forth from nothingness, adapting accommodated teachings for beginners. If one is an outstanding person, one leaves behind no trace: overturning all displayed texts, cutting through all entangling vines. However, 'a thousand soldiers are easy to find, but a single general is hard to seek.' Entering the weeds to search for someone, one opens a single line of possibility. If there is a standard prior to the dynamic moment, any intention toward it goes astray; if there is no partiality beneath the words, any movement forms a rut. The wondrous edge of the precious sword is magnificently present face to face; those stuck in shells and confused by seals are unfit even to cultivate weeds."
