How could true Principle ever establish a single speck of dust?
To call it the upright rank already strays from intimacy.
Where does the black rooster crow in the middle of the night?
A withered tree blooms into flowers—a spring beyond the kalpas.
Extending mercy freely with hands outspread, it constantly benefits beings;
Once the mind intends and clings, it already departs from the real.
Look at the crane grove on the day of Nirvāṇa:
He once raised both soles to display them to the multitude.
