> "Kalyāṇamitras! If you wish to enter the profound dharmadhātu and enter the prajñā-samādhi, you must directly cultivate the practice of prajñāpāramitā. Merely upholding one roll of the Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, you will immediately see the nature and enter the prajñā-samādhi. You should know that this person's merit is immeasurable; it is clearly praised in the sūtra and cannot be fully spoken. This is the teaching of the Supreme Vehicle, spoken for people of great wisdom and superior capacity. If people of inferior capacity hear this Dharma, faith does not arise in their minds. Why is this? It is like a great dragon bringing down great rain, raining upon Jambudvīpa: cities and villages all float away, like floating grass and leaves; but if the great rain falls on the great ocean, it neither increases nor decreases. If people of the Mahāyāna hear the Vajracchedikā Sūtra spoken, their minds open in awakening and understanding. Therefore know that the original nature inherently possesses the wisdom of prajñā; one uses wisdom by oneself for contemplative illumination, without relying on written words. For example, rain water does not come from heaven; originally the dragon king in the rivers and oceans draws up this water with his body, causing all sentient beings, all grasses and trees, all sentient and insentient beings to be moistened. The various waters and myriad streams flow back into the great ocean; the ocean receives the myriad waters, merging them into one body. The wisdom of prajñā in the original nature of sentient beings is also like this.
