> "Later, although he has no deliberate mind, due to long practice, every arrow he shoots hits the mark. I am also like this: when first training in the inconceivable samādhi, I tied my citta to a single condition; when accomplished through long practice, there is no further mental ideation, and I am constantly united with concentration." A former worthy also said: 'The moment a single thought of deluded mind stirs, all worldly sufferings are complete. Like a person in a forest of brambles: if he does not move, the thorns will not harm him; when the deluded mind does not arise, one constantly dwells in the bliss of quiescent cessation. The moment a single thought of deluded mind stirs, one is pierced and wounded by the thorns of all states of existence.' Therefore a sūtra says: 'Wherever there is citta, there is suffering; when there is no citta, there is bliss.' One should know that when the deluded mind does not arise, only then does one accord with the bliss of the quiescent cessation of the dharmakāya.
