答。非真能破。夫法自相相違之量。須立者同無異有。敵者同有異無。方成法自相相違。今立敵兩家。同喻有。異喻有。故非真法自相相違過。

> Answer: It is not a genuine refutation. For an inference of contradiction with the intrinsic nature of the predicate, it is required that for the proponent, positive examples do not have it and negative examples have it, while for the opponent, positive examples have it and negative examples do not have it; only then does it constitute contradiction with the intrinsic nature of the predicate. Now, for both proponent and opponent, it is present in the positive example and present in the negative example; therefore, it is not a genuine fallacy of contradiction with the intrinsic nature of the predicate.
