> Answer: The six causes collectively induce five effects. The efficient cause induces the sovereign effect; the two causes of association and co-arising obtain the virile effect; the two causes of homogeneity and omnipresence obtain the uniformly flowing effect; the maturation cause induces the maturation effect. The fifth, the effect of dissociation, takes unconditioned cessation through deliberation (pratisaṃkhyānirodha) as its substance; its substance is untainted, and that which is realized by the path able to sever \[defilements\] is called the effect of dissociation.
