> Answer: Although manifest activity perfuming a seed is in the same moment, it lacks the sense of the cause being hidden and submerged while the fruit is manifest; therefore, it is also not the basis as causal condition. Hence we know that only taking the meaning of the true causal condition is it called a basis. Only when fully possessing three meanings is it called the basis as causal condition: first, being dominant, which means the seed is dominant; second, the cause is hidden and submerged while the fruit is manifest, which excludes manifest activity perfuming a seed; third, cause and effect are simultaneous, which excludes seed generating seed.
