> The Sūtra on Transforming the Female Body says: 'If one sees no distinctions among dharmas, then one will certainly be able to bring sentient beings to maturity.' / It also says: 'If one knows that all dharmas bear the characteristic of liberation, this is called ultimate liberation.' / Explanation: Clinging to citta as the objective realm, whatever meets the eye is defiling toil. Knowing that the objective realm is citta, there is nothing that is not liberation. Therefore, the two vehicles only realize the emptiness of persons; merely transcending the delusion of a personal self is called liberation, but they have not yet attained the universal liberation of the emptiness of dharmas, because they do not recognize citta. As a verse in the Laṅkāvatārasūtra says: 'Dharmas have no entity of dharma, / yet it is said that they are mind-only. / Failing to see one's own citta, / discrimination is produced.'
