If one attains understanding through phenomena, one's vigor is robust; if one sees the Dharma within phenomena, then at all times and in all places one does not lose mindfulness. If one understands through written words, one's vigor is weak. Being identical with phenomena is being identical with the Dharma—even through your manifold movements, leaping, stumbling, and falling, you never exit the dharmadhātu, nor do you enter the dharmadhātu. If one takes a realm to enter a realm, that is a foolish person. Whatever one does, it never ultimately exits the mind of the dharmadhātu. Why?
