> Master Weizheng said: 'The ancient sages and present sages are identical in their principle. The sun of former days and the sun of today do not shine with two different brightnesses. The wind of former days and the wind of today do not blow with two different movements. A drop of water moistens; the water of the great ocean moistens.' He also said in a verse: 'In a single thought attaining the mind, / one suddenly transcends the three realms. / Seeing that there is nothing to be seen, / greed and anger decay and crumble.'
