In the same way, the pure dharmadhātu of the Tathāgata, though it pervades all categories of characteristics and knowable spheres, cannot be said to have various characteristics, for its substance is of only a single flavor.” Explanation: The “pure dharmadhātu” is the dharmadhātu of the one mind without admixture; with phenomena as its realm, how could it have boundaries? Thus, within all form, there is the nature of empty space; how much more so within all phenomena is there the nature of peace and bliss! Because this nature is concealed, it manifests various spheres in accordance with the known object and conforming to the capacities of sentient sentiments. If clarified by emptiness, emptiness appears; if clarified by form, form appears. Whenever it is disclosed, it manifests in that very place.
