The Mahābhiṣekasūtra states: “A dhyāna-contemplating bhikṣu has no other thoughts; he guards only the one dharma, and thereafter sees the true.” Explanation: Taking the one dharma as the source, all dust finds no lodging; other conditions naturally cease, and the marvelous nature is clearly revealed. When the intention returns to the One, what wisdom will not be clarified? When one follows the stream and reaches the source, what doubt will not be resolved? For grasping the essential principle, none is greater than this.
