I humbly pray that I, so-and-so, life after life and world after world, in every place and at every turn, may in my eyes constantly see such a scripture; in my ears constantly hear such a scripture; in my mouth constantly chant such a scripture; in my hands constantly write such a scripture; and in my mind constantly awaken to such a scripture. I vow that life after life and world after world, in every place and at every turn, I may constantly be able to draw close to all the sages and worthies of the Lotus Treasury, and constantly receive the compassionate gathering-in of all the sages and worthies of the Lotus Treasury. Just as expounded in the sūtra, may you all bear witness. May I be like Bodhisattva Sudhana; may I be like Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī; may I be like Bodhisattva Maitreya; may I be like Bodhisattva Samantabhadra; may I be like Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara; may I be like Vairocana Buddha.
