> The above fifteen works, totaling one hundred and fifteen fascicles. In the reign of Emperor An, the Tripiṭaka Dhyāna master Buddhabhadra of Northern India—in the language of Jin, Juexian—translated them in two places: the capital Yangdu and Mount Lu. The śramaṇas Faye, Huiyi, Huiyan, and others collaboratively transcribed them in detail. The Gaoseng zhuan states: 'Bhadra produced fifteen works, including the Nirvāṇa and the Xiuxing \[Dhyāna Sūtra\], totaling one hundred and seventeen fascicles.' Relying on Baochang's catalogue to supplement the Wuliangshou jing and the Jieben, although the number of works is complete, it is still short by two fascicles, and it is not yet clear which scriptures these are. May erudite figures of future generations continue this, hoping to repair what was omitted so as to fulfill the stream of the Dharma.
