> The above one sūtra in five fascicles: During the reign of Emperor Xiaowu of the Jin, the Indian Tripiṭaka Śramaṇa Dharmapriya—translated into Qin as Fa'ai—held the Sanskrit text of the Large Prajñāpāramitā, and Zhu Fonian translated it into the language of Qin. It is also called the Chang'an Section, named after the place where it was produced. It is an abridgement of a foreign scripture.
